Summary

Dr. Hammer Burns is the Director of Counseling Services at Reproductive Medicine Center. Her practice is primarily women’s health psychology with special interest in reproductive health, perinatology, and sexuality.

Dr. Hammer Burns received a master’s degree in counseling psychology at the University of St. Thomas in 1983 and a doctorate in family social science from the University of Minnesota in 1989. She is the co-author of Miscarriage: A Shattered Dream a book for consumers. In addition, she is co-editor of the only textbook for professionals on reproductive health counseling, Infertility Counseling: A Comprehensive Handbook for Clinicians, now in its second edition.
