Summary

Dr. Rauk received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He also completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at that institution. He then went on to complete a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Magee-Women’s Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to coming to the University of Minnesota, Dr. Rauk was an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Dr. Rauk specializes in high-risk obstetric complications with special interests in preterm labor, infectious disease, and the care of pregnant women with disabilities.

Awards & Recognition

Dr. Rauk was a 2016 recipient of the ACGME Courage to Teach Award. The Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Award is given to program directors who have fostered innovation and improvement in their residency programs and served as exemplary role models for residents. Read the press release here
